"The east wind begins to blow, carrying warmth into the water. Landscapes merge without boundaries, and in time, the mountains drift into slumber." _Veils of Landscape_ takes its title from a phrase in Japan’s traditional 72 micro-seasons: “Kasumi Hajimete Tanabiku,” which describes the softening air and hazy mountains of late February. Through this phrase, I realized that Satoyama landscapes are formed not by a single phenomenon, but through multiple layers of nature—light, wind, humidity, and more—interacting and overlapping. This inspired my technique: layering three to seven levels of animation, like watercolor pigments that bleed and blend across boundaries.
