Every year, the selected programme follows some unannounced topic that all the authors seem to have agreed to use in their films. In this year’s edition, the unspoken motif of the Student Film Competition was the ocean, the lighthouse, the plunge, the water and our relationship with it, with all of its possible metaphors and meanings. Why so many of the students decided to tell stories around water, we don't know. But we do know that this selection includes 58 wonderful films. Optimistic, sad, funny, expecting, searching... each with their own questions and their own hope.

Meet the Jury

Student Film Competition 1

A screening that spotlights the ambiguous relationships between two people, the imprints that arise from each encounter, between someone and their body. The routine, the space we occupy and the unwanted presences animated through drawings, cutouts and puppets.
