'‘Busy Bodies’ is a hand-drawn animation that combines inkjet and screen printing techniques. Inspired by Rube Goldberg machines, the film explores the production journey of easily disposable objects. The factories are run by small workers and set within familiar domestic spaces. As they work, a pair of large hands is seen controlling the production, regardless of the workers’ safety. The owner of these hands is never revealed, alluding to the secretive nature of our production methods.
