An ant and a spore cross paths with each other among countless beings, and embark on a journey together. As the spore gradually takes over the ant, the ant becomes captivated by its constantly changing appearance, exposing itself to numerous dangers. The spore yearns to be fully acknowledged by the ant, and dreams of stepping into the outer world to meet the ant directly. The spore blooms into cordyceps. It finally confronts the ant, but the ant, now lifeless, is unable to see the spore.
