‘After A Whale’ follows the journey of a young woman in search of peace. She visits a swimming pool and enters a meditative state. Suddenly, the pool turns dark and a killer whale passes her by. She joins him for a swim. When the girl touches the killer whale, a new connection is formed between two neurons. She reaches a higher state of awareness. A news report from another time reveals a dead whale washed ashore. Unable to bury such a large creature, the locals decide to blow it up. Despite the strange events, life continues, and so does her search for peace – even after the whale.
