The 25th edition of the festival hosts the world premiere of ‘Virgin Fandango’ by director Marcy Page, a Portugal-Canada co-production by Ciclope Filmes and the National Film Board. The film uses Portuguese tiles as elements of animation. Some of the 12000 tiles used in the production of the film are a tribute and ode to women, and are on display in the windows of Cinema São Jorge between 12th and 22nd March.
