You can now submit your animated film to the 26th edition of MONSTRA! Films using any technique and from any country are welcome to enter any of our competitive sections.
MONSTRA will be back from 11 to 21 March 2027, and if you want to see your film screened at Lisbon’s biggest animation festival – and one of the most renowned worldwide – enter one of the following categories:

International Competition

• • Feature films
  • Long Short films
  • Short films
  • Super Short films
  • Student Short films
  • Short films for Children and Young People (MONSTRINHA)

Vasco Granja Competition

• • Portuguese Short Films

Submitted films must contain an animated sequence comprising at least 60% of the film’s total running time.
