At the peak of his fame, Marcel Pagnol receives a request from the chief editor of an important woman’s magazine to write a literary booklet, in which he should recount his childhood years, his view of Provence, his first loves… When he starts writing the first pages, about the child he once was, little Marcel suddenly appears. Just like that, his memories rush to him as the words flow: the beginning of talking pictures, the first big film studio, his connection to the actors, his experience in writing. The biggest storyteller of all time becomes the hero in his own life.
