This edition’s feature films competition will be presenting 7 international feature films, which explore various stories, styles, genres and techniques. The competition starts on monday, on the 25th of March, at 10:00 PM, at Cinema São Jorge in Sala Manoel de Oliveira, with Denis Do’s film FUNAN, which tells the story of Chou, a woman who leads an enchanted life, in 1975 Cambodia, until one morning when the Khmer Rouge madness plunges the country into horror. FUNAN is the incredibly powerful story of a young mother’s struggle to save her son and keep her family together in a barbaric time.
