“This year MONSTRA Guest Country is Canada. The Canadian public institution National Film Board, whose impact on the animation area of the film industry has always been of special remark, is celebrating its eightieth-anniversary.

For this screening, six short films, mostly produced in NFB, were chosen, and they represent the importance of Canadian animation, subject that will be of an extense retrospective from 20th to 31st of March. MONSTRA will be exhibiting the great masterpieces of the last quarter of the 20th century produced by a variety of worldwide remarkable authors such as Eugene Fedorenko, Derek Lamb, Janet Perleman, Ishu Patel and the awarded Caroline Leaf and Alexander Petrov. A taste of a vast program that MONSTRA will presents between 20th to 31st of March.
