On March 3, at 9:30 p.m., at the Largo do Intendente, MONSTRA | Lisbon Animated Film Festival Festival will be screening, free of charge, “Shaun The Sheep”, winner of the Best Film for Children and Youth Award and the Audience Award at the festival’s 14th edition.
From the creators of Wallace & Gromit, the film tells the tale of Shaun, a sheep that is as much a troublemaker as she is clever, which lives with its flock at Mossy Bottom Farm, under the supervision of the farmer and Bitzer, a dutiful but completely ineffective sheep dog. To put an end to this boring routine, Shaun hatches a clever plan to get a day off.
“Shaun the Sheep”, in addition to being nominated for the Best Animated Film Oscar in 2016 and the Golden Globe, in the same year, it won the Best Animated Feature Film Award at the Annie Awards.
